官啊！
新莊人的積極爭取，贏得捷運早日通車
位於捷運新莊機廠用地上的樂生療養院，因保留上的爭議而被列為暫定古蹟，使得機廠工程進度落後，嚴重影響捷運新莊線的通車時程，因此許市長與各民意代表、里長進行一連串的陳情及331新莊大團結「拼捷運，求生存」遊行，表達新莊人希望捷運早日通車的心聲，終於獲得行政院善意的回應。
樂生院區爭議在經過多次協調，終於依照公共工程委員會最新方案拆除6棟、原地保留39棟及拆遷重組10棟原則下獲得解決，捷運新莊機廠已開始復工。
許市長特別感謝上級府政伸張正義，以及樂生療養院保存爭議期間各民意代表、里長及全體市民的全力參與支持，更期望捷運新莊線能儘速如期於102年完工通車，讓新莊市民享有捷運帶來的交通便捷，更帶動本市的繁榮與發展。

但因為媒體不關切了，政府也就偷偷地做，反正沒人會發現。
連搬出地質問題半威脅性的跟他們說「不可拆！」，都沒人理會。

I am also in favor of using Mewelde Moore. (heh) Ever since Willie has been back, we have been stuffed on runs (interesting to see a stat for that) a lot more. First, our line does not have the push, nor the runner to penetrate up the middle. That is not a crime. Second, we are not utilizing Willie the way hes most effective. Im not sure how injuries have affected his speed, but I believe Willies most success in the past has been generated on edge runs. Moore does better than Willie up the middle, but lets face it, hes no Brandon Jacobs.
Nothing is going to happen unless WE make it happen and nothing is going to happen overnight, regardless.
